Rawlings is the number one brand and leading supplier for baseball. No matter if it’s about bats, gloves, balls or protective gear.
Task
The product engineering is based in the US headquarters in St. Louis and all design and product stra­tegy related decisions are being made there. As usual in todays sporting goods industry the most of the products are manufactured in the Asia Pacific region. Not only the language, time zone and cul­tural differences need to be mana­ged
Solution
The product data management tool was the missing link everyone was looking for. While the other software systems handle many things that are task specific (ERP, CRM, Sharepoint ECM, DMS-Sys­tems, design software, CAD) none of them handle the full details of the product.

Client
3e oem sports is a company hand­ling generic sporting goods for different clients. Sourcing of pro­ducts is organized worldwide and handed over to several clients. With offices throughout Asia and Europe the client is delivering OEM production goods to brands as well as generic sports goods to wholesalers and retailers.
Task
This includes product labeling, packing, manuals, product pictures, control numbers like the GTIN, ERP codes and many other informations. These informations need to be checked briefly, up to date and transmittable into many applications for example into advertising folders, other product databases like webshops and portal softwares.
Solution
The unification of all data into one point and the multi export ability makes this job something that can be handled without any delay and without missing a single entry. The connection to the relevant other corporate applications ensures all changes are done in time and relevant people become notified about the update.

Client
Both home and business cust­omers will find in the Smarthome Group technical lifestyle products and practical solutions package for building and home automation, to make everyday life easier and more comfortable. The products of the Smarthome Group are based on Smart-BUS G4 technology and are distributed worldwide.
Task
Even more confusing was the worldwide communication of pro­duct data for marketing purposes. The individual distribution loca­tions prepared the marketing mater­ials on the basis of infor­mation supplied from Dubai itself – which not only led to huge delays but also to the product specifi­cations were communicated in different variations. Some of the items were photographed twice even for different distributors and the images costly edited.
Solution
The rasin MDM-Solution made it an easy job. The standardization of product data, and automatic scal­able multi export function make a lag-free update possible, in which you can be sure that no entry is forgotten. The connection with other relevant databases, ensures an update and further notify auto­matically the affected user.

Since 90 years, Stahlgruber en­sure the customers mobility in a fast, efficient and cost-effective manner - with original branded parts and accessories for a wide variety of vehicle types, with a focus on passenger cars and light com­mercial vehicles. The companys product range, with over 500.000 articles, fits all the needs of car workshops and spare parts dealers.
Task
Stahlgruber stands for innovation, performance, quality and reliability and these values should be pas­sed on to customers, by the web­site and by the online service center. The old site does not re­present these themes.
Solution
The new design is now „state of the art“ and exudes the professio­nalism, dynamism and the force of innovation which the company wants to represent. An important point, besides the front end of the website and the customers center was the integration of the in-house content management system into the new design. It also was impor­tant to develope a cross-browser functional web concept.
